Mainit na pagbati sa mga opisyal ng paaralan, mga administrador, mga faculty member at adviser, mga guro, at mga magulang ng mga nagtapos, at mga completer ng Taong Panuruan 2021-2022!
Sa ngalan ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd), ipinagmamalaki ko na ipagdiwang ang mga tagumpay, pinagdaanan, at natamong karangalan ng mga nagtapos sa batch na ito at mga mag-aaral na na-promote sa End-of-School Year rites ngayong taon na may temang “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Masigasig sa mga Pangarap at Matatag sa mga Pagsubok” (K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of Adversity).”
Sa nakalipas na anim na taon, tumalima kami sa aming mandato na pagandahin ang kalidad ng edukasyon, palawakin ang access, at siguraduhin ang kaugnayan nito sa mabilis na pagbabago ng mundo.
Pinagsumikapan ng DepEd na tugunan ang bawat hamon sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatupad ng mga programa at reporma sa Kagawaran. Buo naming naipatupad ang K to 12 curriculum at ang mga agresibong reporma ng Sulong Edukalidad na lumikha ng globally competitive na mga mag-aaral at mga guro. Pinalawig din namin ang aming misyon para sa abot-kamay na edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatibay ng Alternative Leaning System (ALS) at ng Last Mile Schools program upang maabot pa ang maraming Pilipino. Gayundin, itinatag din namin ang National Academy of Sports (NAS) at Education Futures Unit upang gumawa ng marami pang oportunidad para sa ating mga mag-aaral at maasahan ang kinabukasan ng sistema ng edukasyon sa ating bansa.
Tumatalima sa pagpapanatili ng momentum na ito, binuo at ipinatupad ng Kagawaran ang Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP), kung saan nag-alok ang Kagawaran ng iba’t ibang learning modalities at gumawa ng award-winning na mga inisyatiba tulad ng DepEd TV at DepEd Commons sa kasagsagan ng pandemya. Sa huli, ipinagpatuloy ng Kagawaran ang adhikain nito laban sa di-pangkaraniwang hamon sa pangunahing edukasyon habang tayo ay progresibong nagpapalawak ng muling pagbubukas ng face to face classes sa bansa.
Sa katunayan, ang edukasyon ay tunay na isang shared responsibility. Kung kaya ipinahahayag namin ang aming mataas na pagpapahalaga sa aming mahal na mga magulang at guro sa pagiging mga katuwang sa pagpapanday ng mga kabataan sa nagdaang mga taon.
Sa Class of 2022, nasa dugo ninyo ang katatagan. Nalagpasan ninyo ang isa sa mga pinakamahirap na panahon sa kasaysayan ng sangkatauhan at sa kabila nito, niyakap pa rin ang edukasyon bilang pangunahing kagamitan sa tagumpay. Naniniwala akong sa inyong masidhing damdamin at layon, makakamit ninyo ang inyong mga pangarap at babaguhin ang mundo.
Nawa’y panatilihin ninyong makamit at ibahagi ang inyong karunungan, bilang magkakasama, makabubuo tayo ng isang bansa ng mga magagaling na mamamayan ng mundo at mga lider sa hinaharap.

My warmest greetings to the school officials, administrators, faculty members and advisers, teachers, parents, and guardians of the graduates and completers of School Year 2021-2022!
On behalf of the Department of Education (DepEd), I am proud to celebrate the successes, milestones, and achievements of this batch’s graduates and promoted students in this year’s End-of-School-Year rites with the theme “K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of Adversity.”
In the past six years, we committed to our mandate to enhance the quality of education, broaden its access, and ensure its relevance in the rapidly changing world.
DepEd endeavored to address each challenge by instituting programs and reforms in the Department. We have fully implemented the K to 12 curriculum and the aggressive reforms of Sulong EduKalidad to produce globally competitive learners and teachers. We also expanded our mission for accessible education by strengthening the Alternative Learning System (ALS) and the Last Mile Schools programs to reach more Filipinos. Likewise, we also established the National Academy of Sports (NAS) and Education Futures Unit to create more opportunities for our learners and anticipate the future of the education system in the country.
Committed to sustaining this momentum, the Department developed and implemented the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Program (BE-LCP), where we offered various learning modalities and produced award-winning initiatives such as the DepEd TV and DepEd Commons at the height of the pandemic. Eventually, the Department held its ground against an unprecedented challenge in basic education as we progressively expand the reintroduction of face-to-face classes in the country.
Indeed, education is truly a shared responsibility. This is why we express our utmost appreciation to our dear parents and teachers for being our partners in nurturing the youth throughout the years.
To the Class of 2022, resilience is in your blood. You have survived one of the toughest times in human history, yet still embraced education as your primary tool to success. I believe that with your passion and purpose, you can reach your dreams and change the world.
May you keep on harnessing and imparting wisdom as together, we will build a nation of competent global citizens and future leaders.
